For the third year in a row, community leaders, local businesses, community-based organizations, and block associations are joining forces to tackle trash in West Harlem and beyond, as part of Team Up to Clean Up on Saturday, June 25th. The goal this year is to engage 400 volunteers.
The Team Up Crew organizes resource hubs throughout the Upper West Side and West Harlem where volunteers can meet up with groups, gather free clean-up supplies, and clean their block, taking ownership for a small part of their community. This popular annual event raises public awareness about the need for cleaner streets, brings communities together, and fosters civic engagement. The event is co-sponsored by West Harlem Development Corporation and WEACT for Environmental Justice and led by the volunteer Team Up Crew.
Sign up here to join neighbors for the next “Team Up to Clean Up West Harlem” event on June 25th, 2022, from 10 am to 1 pm. Form a group with HTBA neighbors or join one already meeting up near you!
