Local Harlem Spots Seek New Hires

The COVID-19 pandemic has been difficult for a lot of New York businesses. Our neighborhood was hit hard by the pandemic. We've lost beloved neighbors to this virus, and we've seen numerous neighborhood businesses have to shut their doors.


During this tumultuous time, we want to share opportunities that we hear about to minimize job and housing insecurity for our neighbors. Please continue to share with us about new job and rental opportunities near Hamilton Terrace! We will post on our site and try to spread the word.


As of January 27, 2021, here is a compilation of at least 10 Harlem businesses and non-profits seeking new hires around the neighborhood. Please note that we are just the messenger here, and we'd encourage all applicants to look into these businesses' owners and practices to make their own determination of whether to apply.


  1. The Cliffs is set to open in February 2021 and is hiring for the following positions in Harlem: General Manager, Assistant General Manager, Social Media and Community Coordinator, Shift Supervisors, Front Desk, and Bouldering Instructors. See job posts here.
