Neighbors, you can report an unleashed dog in a park, an apartment building, and other public places by calling 311. Call 911 to report a dog that is currently threatening or injuring someone.

Register your dog with the City.

All dogs living in NYC, including service dogs, must have a dog license from the NYC Department of Health. Licenses must be renewed annually. Your dog license must be attached to your dog's collar while in public. Failure to do so may result in fines. See more information here.

Pick up after your dog.

Remember to pick up dog waste on your walks. Block residents have donated plastic bags at either end of Hamilton Terrace for guests to use.

Property owners must maintain the cleanliness of their property and adjoining sidewalks and gutters, even if they do not own the pet, stray, or wild animal that is making the waste. Report here.

Bonus- Did you know about Dog Walker Surveillance?
