Redistricting in 2022 caused new boundaries to be drawn in Community Council Districts 7, 8, and 9.
Previously, Hamilton Terrace was part of District 7, represented by NYC Council Member Shaun Abreu. Now, Hamilton Terrace is part of District 9.
