Did you hear the exciting news about our neighbor to the south? After more than two years of being closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Hamilton Grange National Memorial has reopened for self-guided tours.
The National Memorial posted the following information on their Facebook page last week:
New York, NY – The National Park Service is pleased to announce that beginning Sunday, May 29th and Monday, May 30th, Hamilton Grange National Memorial will open the historic floor for self-guided tours. The Visitor Center, including the exhibits, theater, park store, and rest rooms remain closed.
After Memorial Day weekend, the hours of operation will be 10 a.m. – 12 p.m and 1 p.m. to 4 p.m on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. Hours are subject to change. Please visit nps.gov/hagr/planyourvisit for up-do-date hours.
Reservations are strongly encouraged. To reserve a 15-minute tour slot, email hagr_info@nps.gov with your desired date and time of visit as well as number of guests. Up to five guests can be accommodated. Reservations are only valid upon receipt of a confirmation. Please allow up to 48 hours to receive your confirmation. Fifteen minute slots will be available for visitation within the open hours. Walk-ups may be available, but not guaranteed.
Please note that masks will be required in all federal buildings, as Covid-19 community transmission in New York City is currently rated at HIGH.
